Awesome title!!

I also saw "Some like it Hot" over the weekend. Marilyn Monroe was awesome in it but I have to say it wasn't funny. At all.

Actually one of my favorite old movies......I think it is hilariously over the top.....

I also saw Transformers on HD DVD this weekend. I had seen it in the theater, but was pretty cool to watch in HD. Story was some what lame, but the action and graphics were awesome.

Still - Shoot em UP with Clive Owen - was so over the top it one to watch - it was as over the top as Snakes on a Plane:D

Started watching Tin Man on Sci-Fi last night - 2 more nights - so far so good.

There were some good scenes, like when they're on the train. I guess I didn't give it much of a chance...fell asleep after a while, basically.

Some Like it Hot was filmed at Hotel Del Coronado in San Diego or at least some of it was. I've never seen it - maybe I can put it on that list with 1000 other movies I'd like to see. :)

Sorry if I keep on about this one....I've seen two stage productions of it and love the music.
Have a feeling that this one is gonna be huge at Oscar time...and even if that is not the case...it'll still be a great movie.(IMO)

Golden Compass just came out over here today. Not sure what the release date back home was/is. But I'm pretty excited for this one. I read the books when I was younger and they were absolutely fantastic.

I'm predicting that movie will be a huge flop. They're comparing it to "Lord of the Rings", "Narnia" and Harry Potter. The difference is people have heard of those books. Plus, Nicole Kidman is box office poison.

yeah, but she can't stay that forever can she? They said the same about Katherine Hepburn at one point.

Nicole Kidman has trouble coming across as a human being, something seems to be missing. She would be best cast as and alien or robot. Aren't they making a new Star Trek? Put some pointy ears on her and she'll be great.

Actually she plays a sort of creepy role like that in this movie, so maybe it'll work.

Odd that the wax dummy is the one with the most expressive face.

Wasn't Moulin Rouge a huge hit? I never saw it but it seemed like everyone else did....that is, every woman did. :p

I looked it up and Moulin Rouge made 57 mil domestic gross. It did alot better overseas. But that hardly makes up for the string of flops she's had since then. "Bewitched" "Stepford Wives" "The Invasion" it's an ugly list of expensive bombs.
