As I think most of ppl know even "walls" (and referees) will help the hosts and Switzerland is strong enough to use it. Why Czech Rep? Because Portugal still has a problem with making a team from their superstars (if they do it - they will kick everyones ass, but not yet IMO). Turkey... lol

As for Germany - everyone is sure they will go through and so am I. Poland - well we won every Euro we went to... (lol) But seriously we have big chance against Croatia a victory against Portugal at home and a draw in Lisbon, winning a group, good results at all friendlies. It will be close...

Netherlands - always good at Euro. Italy - WC plus a typical tournament team - sux at qualifications, rox at tournaments. Romania can make some mess IMO - they would qualify from any other group (especially if England played in it). France - dunno, maybe... but I don't bet on the French

Spain is almost always strong enough to go through the group stage and because its the weakest group IMO they will have no problem. Neither will Sweden.

Switzerland is a strong homeside and Turkey... well, you never know how they'll do. But they certainly have the quality to make it out of the group. Plus they have a top notch coach.

Well, Germany is a no-brainer. But I think they will lose against Croatia and therefore "only" finish as a runner-up in their group.

Italy is the strongest team in this group imo. Romania is pretty much everybody's dark horse and it is my dark horse as well.

Spain will perform well this time, I'm quite sure of this. Greece is the second best team in this group and therefore will also reach the quarters.

Switzerland - Germany

Germany is just to strong for the Swiss.

Croatia - Turkey

Turkey will surprise here and kick out the Croatians.

Italy - Greece

Italy wins 1-0.

Spain - Romania

Great and entertaining game with the better end for Spain.

Turkey - Germany

With 2.5 million people of turkish origin living in Germany, this game will be a verty special one for both teams. Germany takes the win, though.

Italy - Spain

The clash of soccer cultures. Spain will just edge Italy out in a terrific 3-2 win.

Final
Germany - Spain

After a very dull first halfe, Spain takes the lead early in the second half. But Germany shows great fighting spirit once again and scores the equalizer in the 88th. minute. In overtime, the game becomes an open field battle. When everyone settles for the penalties, Metzelder brings down Villa in the box with a clumsy challence and spain earns a penalty kick and converts. Spain wins the Euro 2008.

Does anyone know if there are betting houses (Ladbrokes, etc) in Austria/Switzerland where you can bet on the matches?? I know England & Germany have them, but was curious. From the States and want to lay a little action down when I get to Vienna. Thanks for any help....
