Man u -Villa match should be interesting. Third time in four seasons that they've drawn each other in the cup

Which is exactly why it shouldn't be interesting.

after the match between Villa and Portsmouth today, i would expect the outcome v ManU to be easy to predict.

So Forest crashes out and it's another year of "focusing on the league."

Port Vale are also out. They lost 1-0 at Chasetown (who play at step 4 of the pyramid).

Swansea had to come from behind twice in their game against Horsham, but eventually ran out 6-2 winners. Both Oxford and Burton are also out.

The FA are running a scheme whereby kids can get into games for £1. Despite supposedly being a national spread of games, absolutely non of them are close to London, with most being in northern England (Blackburn, Plymouth, Bolton, Sunderland, Huddersfield and Wolves).

Going to Chasetown, who are two leagues or six divisions below us, should be... interesting.

thought Chasetown was in step 7!

It's definitely step four, describing a step like this only starts from the Conference. It works out as the eighth tier of the game here (or seven promotions needed to make the Premiership).

Step 1 = Conference National
Step 2 = Conference North/South
Step 3 = Unibond/Ryman/BGB Premier
Step 4 = Unibond/Ryman/BGB Regional Divisions

They currently stand 11th in the BGB Division One Midlands (though with enough games in hand to potentially go top).

Good draw for Everton. We're doing really well in the Uefa Cup and in the semi final of the Carling Cup...lets hope we can keep it going in the FA Cup aswell!

About time we were drew at home in a domestic cup!

All through our CC success we have played away (Sheff Wed, Luton, West Ham).

I love cup runs, hopefully the start of another.

Horrible decision by the ref to give a red card to Ipswich.

Didn't see it myself, but the FSC commentators are agreeing. Say it should have been yellow at most.

Pedro Mendes should have been carded for unsportsmanlike conduct, all that whinging and rolling around like a scalded weasel.

Mark Halsey is normally a decent arbiter.
