The 10 point deduction would move us out of the relegation zone. :-)

According to the story MetroAnt linked and the BBC one below, they've got 10 days to complete a sale before entering administration.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/teams/c/coventry_city/7125225.stm
Coventry's board has announced its intention to take the cash-strapped club into administration.
But the Sky Blues remain hopeful that a takeover by football entrepreneur Ray Ranson and Sisu Capital will be completed before then.
"This legal notice gives Coventry a 10-day window to complete the takeover talks," said the board's statement.
If the talks fail and the club do go into administration, they will be deducted 10 points.
Coventry lie 14th in the table, with estimated debts of £38m, and their perilous financial state led to a transfer embargo being imposed.
Manager Iain Dowie has warned that he would consider his position if the club went into administration.

No kidding! Clubs like Palace, Leicester and Wednesday seem to be getting themselves together faster than we are. Of course the transfer window could be far better for the Rs.
