This thread is completely pointless. Every team tries to buy the title. That is the whole point. Every team spends as much as they think they can afford to buy players that they think will get them to the top(or to the topflight in some cases). I dont understand your point, if you want to say you wish spurs had that kind of money just say that. Not Chelsea is trying to buy the title because that doesnt seperate Chelsea from any of the other top clubs. I think they are trying to be competitive in Europe, that might be what you mean to say.

May buy the title, may buy support over here, but can't get any love at home. 70M squid spent, in the papers ever day and tickets still left for this weekend on open sale up to blocks of 4.

If you're going to post something, at least post all of the information, not just the bits that will suit your little slag.

The Tickets that were given to the foxes were initially sent back as they were trying some sort of boycott to protest the high prices of games at Stamford Bridge.
Then, a change of heart came upon some/most of them and they wanted the tickets.
However, they will NOT sell the allotment they were given and thus there will be seats available.

P.S. London is a sh_theap of a city. It's the same as everywhere else in Britain apart from the pavements are wider and there are more buildings and cars. London is nothing special, honestly. [/B][/QUOTE]

me like london, much

So who do you think is happier now, Bates, who gets to be second-fiddle to some (supposedly) superrich Russian, or Mo Al-Fayed, who's still bankrolling FFC and still no solution to the ground issue? Not a good day to own Harrod's today. :D
