My buddies old man just came back from bolivia, and was saying that bolivar is getting rid of all the corrupt A-holes out of bolivia, and that money is being given from that Rich bolivian from Miami multi-millionaire who started that cell phone comapny, like 2 million will be going to bolivar in order to start rebuiliding their team, and to start buying players so they can be competitive not only nationally but internationally also!
Yessssss, i knew this day would come, time for those corrupt A-holes to go! And for us to go back to being the glorious wonderful and legendary team that we we're known for all these years, repping Bolivia to the Fullest!!
Que VIVA BOLIVAR!!!!!!

First changes......Blacutt, one of the best DTs in Bolivia, will be Bolivar's DT. Sandy will be his assistant.
Bolivar has officially contacted about half the players in the national team. The goal for next year is for "Bolivar to be the basis of the National Team." Also, it is hoping to bring back players who have lost appeal due to their recent inactivity back home.... Mojica, Botero, and Lorgio Alvarez.

I hope they get them back, alvarez is sitting on the bench but recently scored for Cerro'. And botero is pretty old. They should go after Castillo in Chile, hes still fairly young. Go get pachi' again too. Mojica though..... I guess it would be nice to see him playing back at home to get him used to the hernando siles. They should go after Pinedo, rotting in Xerez of espana, or Ortiz in Europe!

even though I dislike Cholivar, this could be good for the National team, if Bolivar has national team players then they will get used to playing in the altitude. I would like to see Bolivian teams do well in the next Copa Libertadores.

Yep. If you look at the roster of the 93' team most played on bolivar, and the ones who didnt played in bolivia. Almost all the players that made us get to the WC didnt play outside bolivia!
Cholivar, LOL Kiss my ass.

I take it you're talking about Brightstar CEO Marcelo Claure, the worlds largest wireless distribution and supply chain company.

Talk about a hustler, that guys story is incredible. I never knew he got one of his initial starts and gained some of his skills working under Guido Loayza(former head of FBF) during Bolivias world cup run. Apparently Guido hired him not too long after Marcelo graduated college when they met on a flight from Miami to Bolivia over some drinks of scotch. Kinda of a long read, but anyone interested in entrepreneurship, business, or just a damn good story should read this. It's about 4 years old.

.....Back to Bolivar, he must be a huge fan to give them any $. That's just throwing money away IMO. I love how Bolivar wants to become big time again by trying to get Botero, Alvarez, Mojica and Blacut as DT:p:D
Seems like he's a huge futbol fan, considering he was with FBF during our world cup run and according to you is putting $ into Bolivar. He lives in Miami why not just buy into MLS, certainly has the $$ for it.

I dunno, i'd do what he did over the MLS! Got love for the Celeste first.
They need help, and hopefully he can go in there and clean house.
I'll take a gander at that story.

Wow, surprising news for Bolivar and all it's fans. For the first time since they were together with FBF when we qualified for the World Cup Guido Loayza and Marcelo Claure will work together again. They were voted co-presidents of the club.
Apparently Claure intends to run the club as a sucessful business. Considering he's an uber millionaire I wouldn't bet against him. Well at least all you Bolivar fans wont have to worry about the dirigentes stealing money. These guys are loaded.

Pachi Sucks. I don't ever want to see him playing on a soccer field again. He got skill, but he's too slow, and has limited vision.

Bolivar are signing Pachi, Botero, Arana and Arias and foreigns Martinez (PAR), Fioretto, Carrario (ARG), and Artigas (URU)
not so much of a great strike so far, but organization and reconstruction issues do sound very promising

You don't mean carlos arias, right? Because he is supposed to go to Cucuta.

Gosh, I hope Pachi is only there as an effective bench warmer. THat dude wouldn't be able to play in most 3rd division leagues in most countries around the world. No speed, slow play, and simply too weak.

Hmm... lets see how he pans out. When he was last with bolivar he worked pretty well IMO. But i agree as far as playing outside of bolivia goes.

yes, i mean carlos arias. by the end of the day he'll have signed his contract after today's medical checkout.
regarding pachi, i'm of the idea that he has potential.
today's news is
reyes (from san jose), sahonero (strongest), ortiz (blooming) and several other young players are being signed too
