Did anybody read l'equipe on wednesday? Apparantly if we lose this one Le Guen could be out of his job!

I really don't think it's PLG's fault. No one's going to turn this team around in 6 months. We really need to back him and let him build a squad his way. Then if he doesn't perform with his guys we can let him go. The musical managers game never does anyone any good.

Changing managers can do a lot. Changing managers every 6 months can hamstring a team for years. I believe we should give him at least another year or possibly two, but if things don't get better after that we should look at replacing him.
I'm always in favor of giving a manager a fair amount of time to get his players in. Having said that, I never did think Lacombe was the right man for the job so I didn't mind seeing him go. I still believe PLG will come good.

I think PLG is in a tough situation due to his commitment to youth, which to his credit, has improved a lot in his tenure, against the certain need to win immediately to avoid relegation. In other words, I think he's struggling between the long-term plan vs. the short-term need, and he's been erring on the side of the long term considering what the lineups have looked like. Consequently, though, it's arguably costing the team points in the league, at the cost benefit of being able to develop the youth more quickly. Ideally, the youth could come in and emerge as stars immediately (similar to what Arsenal are doing), but the harsh reality in all this could be that N'Gog/Sankharé/Ngoyi aren't exactly Toulalan/Benzema/Ben Arfa. If that is the case, then obviously PLG has a tough task on his hands, though taking a glance at the schedule, it's important to note that PSG have already gone against arguably the hardest teams on paper (they'd be OL, ASM, OM, Bordeaux and Rennes arguably), as well as some of the top performers (Nancy). The games in weeks ahead are against Caen, Auxerre, Toulouse, Saint-Etienne, Lens, Lorient, Metz, Lille and Le Mans. Considering that it's likely the team will develop as they roll along, the majority of those games are winnable even if PLG sticks with the Sakhos and N'Gogs.
In any event, I wouldn't fire PLG. Have to see how the upcoming weeks will play out.

I can never find a stream for French games. I'm watching the simulcast on Zapfoot right now, but it keeps switching between games.
What do you guys think of this website?

Ceara just falls over his own feet and lets Florentin basically walk it in.

That was sad. It's hard to blame anyone but Ceará for that loss, though I've been hearing he had been playing well in other matches. Although a mistake like that in a game such as this is inexcusable.

There is something fishy about PSG. Every club goes through bad periods and phases of bad luck, but that's the case with PSG 24/7, seven days a week, and 365 days a year!
Maybe someone should check and see if the Parc de Princes is over an Indian burial ground or something. I hear those things are cursed.
