Well.... I knew we were in for a tough group, but it could have been a lot easier LoL.

I like it. There's no hiding right from the start. A lot of people will feel really bad for Romania, but remember they finished ahead of us in our qualifying group.

I can't predict anything for this group.

Nah, only one of them. Romania will go through for sure.
They played 0-0 and 1-0 against the Netherlands in the qualification and are capable of going to the next stage.

Do you really think there will be a manipulation of the drawing?

Of course he does. He's Italian, after all.

That still doesn't knock out all 3. Math?

I'm sure you popped the champagne bottle knowing you didn't have to face us, yet. When was the last time you beat us in a major tournament anyways? ;)

;) You guys really want to beat us, I can smell it. Just hope we make it out of the group so you finally get that shot. :)

Germany with the Austrians in Group B. We're lucky.

I'm soooo relieved that we managed to avoid drawing Pot A! ;)

I wanted Austria ... and finally we got them! :)

Group C is simply a shocker! Should be interesting games (especially between France and Italy:-)...

Playing in Switzerland will be like an away game against France. lol I would have preferred playing in Austria; the closer to Germany we are(and further away from Francia), the better we do. :D

Group C could easily be the toughest Euro group of all times. Romania has won their qualification group, so they arent bad either.

The most interesting fact about this "group of death" is, that it consists of teams that have played each other in the qualification ... so Romania & Holland and France & Italy should know each other pretty well! ;)

Oh I see now... Group D is a repeat of Euro 2004... Russia Greece Spain

Indeed. :-)

Romania is better than Spain IMO, Group C is the best Group of Death of all time!

Portugal, England, Germany & Romania in 2000 wasn't bad either...

Great answer to such idiotic comments! :p ;)

It's very interesting to see some guys, who never post in the German national team thread, coming here for making stupid comments..

On paper maybe. Germany was an aweful side at that time, remember? And both Romania and Portugal were not as good as they are now. So the best team in that group was a team that hasnt even qualified this time.

This will be a good Euro IMO.

Concerning the hooligan scene, look out for the Germany and Poland game, maybe even Austria and Germany but I don't know Austria's hools. Turkey also has a score to settle from 2005...

C'mon, Portugal & Romania had very decent teams at that time and passed the group ... whereas England was even crappier than Germany (although they luckily won the direct duel with us).

But let's stop spamming this thread.

Have a nice day!
