@8' into the 2nd half
Eull earns a PK but fails to convert.
Why again do we let the person who was fouled take the PK?
Could've been something but it's still 1-0.

Saints really are doing enough to score a 2nd but they haven't. Playing with fire in letting Blackpool have a chance to sneak one in to leave St. Mary's with a point.

Blackpool, Fletcher score, but the ref had already blown the whistle for a free kick.

Somehow loanee Hammil fails to score when he's got just the Blackpool GK to beat.

Game over and Saints at least get a win. But this is a Blackpool team that many picked for relegation this year. Not exactly the most convincing of wins for Saints at this point. And IIRC now they've got to go on the road for a couple games and earn some points.

Sketchy win, yes, but a well needed one that's for sure. I think we need to use Hammil more in his time here. he's young and exciting and we need players like that to lift the mood down at St. Mary's. The vultures are starting to gather and the petty boo-boys, who I hate, only need little excuses to start making their pathetic voices heard
