Let's get the party started. Could really use a win to gather some momentum going into the crucial next two months. The Rs have lost their last four meetings to Wednesday. However, our last one was a memorable one... Promotion Day, 2004.
The important stat today - Wednesday are second in the form guide at the moment:
Sheffield Wednesday
W 4-2 v STO
L 2-1 v SCU
W 2-1 v BLA
W 2-1 v PLY
D 1-1 v WES
W 5-0 v SOU
Hopefully we'll put a dent in that recent record. The Rs are 10th in the form table, losing only once in the last 6.

Weds piling on the pressure - hit the bar

Dodged a bullet there. On their first corner, Wednesday's Sodje headed it off the bottom of the bar. We cleared for another corner and then for another before finally clearing or lines.

Commo noticed that the defense has been soft to start the match. Come on Rs

Tudgay just wide for Wednesday. R's still under pressure.

Sodje blew by Malcolm. Tough shot by Sodje saved by Camp.
Just a minute later, Sinclair on the counter forces the first save by Wednesday's Grant. Great pass by Vine.

Malcolm with a booking for a foul on Sodje. He cut him down early this time after having Sodje blow by him last time. Looks like we're going to have a long day with that matchup.

Sounds like it's evening out, with the Rs getting a couple chances. Pretty good pace as well

Vine is offside before putting it away. The commentators thought it was probably a good call, although they thought Simek was playing deeper than the rest of the Wednesday defensive line, making it a close call.

Good to see Dex back. Hopefully we'll see Blackstock and Vine blend into a good attacking pair through December, which would make me feel good about our (likely?) purchase of Vine in January. Vine has looked good, although that hasn't resulted in many goals yet.

Mancienne sent a nice ball in, Blackstock layed it down to Vine, and Vine went just over the bar. Very nice. Let's see those two link up. UUURRRRs!

Buzsaky with a shot. We're finally getting on top here with several good moments of play. Come on, Rangers!

We're really weren't playing through the middle at all at the beginning -- we're finally hearing the names of Buzsaky and Leigertwood after not having heard about them being on the ball for most of the first 20 minutes.

Plymouth is up 1-0 at Sheffield United, so they're off to a good post-Holloway start.
