Crap. Total scramble, marcus makes two saves and we still can't clear.

Murty has become a liability. Maybe it's just that we don't have a true right wing (credit to convey, but he's a lefty). But he's doing almost nothing beyond routine right now, and that's just not enough.

Reading are doing nothing particularly well, and giving away possession far too quickly. Point being made about Petrov's quality being a reason Murts may look a bit off pace...
Micah smashes convey off his feet, rubbing is racing kind of thing. Not really a good physical matchup for Convey (giving up, what, a foot and 60 pounds).

10 minutes left. still 1-0. Reading seem a bit more involved. City have a lot of quality right now, the best of last year and this new crew are impressive. Didn't we sweep city last year? or did we split.
Convey and Shorey working well enough on the left (he and hunt seem to be switching back and forth).
City triangle and spin harper, get a cross in, marcus punches it away. They're fast on and off the ball...

YEAH>>>> Convey with a pass to Harper in space, he nails it into the corner. 1-1.

Wow. I'll...take it, certainly. First decent attack of the day, and its 1-1.

And Reading believe in themselves... Lot's of pressure, creating corners, kitson headers is blocked for another corner...
This is more like it. Play ends finally with a bad ball by Murts, but another injury for city. Maybe we could three off a seven man city side...;)

FFS. City are fast on the break. Thought Ireland would create a last second go-ahead Sonko stops him, HT and 1-1.

Alright, 1-1. Hopefully they keep playing like they did in that last bit of the half (well, the almost last bit, not the last bit where I thought City would score).

Certainly the bit after the opening of the half, including the bits leading up to about, what, 37, but before the last horribly frightening bit (on the upside, that's a goal we've been giving up too often, sonko saved it). But that bit.;)

mpenza is subbed for samaras, making two subs, right? Second half on. Reading unchanged.

Ha, indeed.
Samaras on for Mpenza, and the half has begun.

Yea, that was their second. Sun Jihai came on for Corluka earlier.
