I started another game with the Spurs (my 1st as them actually) and won the League and UEFA Cup our first season. To kick off the 2nd season we won the Super Cup against Barca 1-0, but lost the Community Shield to Man Utd 5-3.

My roster has undergone some serious changes, but hey, we've won 3 cups so far, here's the roster (just senior roster mind you, so the likes of Taarabt and Bale, yes Bale, are in my reserves):

GK (2) - Paul Robinson, Ben Alnwick

DB (7) - Pascal Chimbonda, Fabricio Coloccini, Daniel Jarque, Luisao, Younes Kaboul, YP Lee, Benoit Assou-Ekotto

MF (8) - Tom Huddlestone, Matteo Paro, Didier Zokora, Steed Malbranque, Matthew Taylor, Adam Johnson, Diego, Toni Kroos

ST (5) - Robbie Keane, Dimitar Berbatov, Michael Owen, Darren Bent, Alex Geijo (at least one of these guys is always injured, hence the large number)

I have Championship Manager 2008 too and I can say that without reservation I am the worst manager in the history of organized football, comically bad. Seriously.:)

February of my second season depth chart:

GKs (2): Paul Robinson, Carlos Idriss Kameni

Defenders (9): Woodgate, Michael Dawson, Ledley King, Younes Kaboul, Lee Young-Pyo, Ryan Taylor, Gareth Bale, Gilberto, and Michele Rigione

Midfield (9): Huddlestone, Zokora, Jenas, Lennon, Malbranque, Jeremy Menez, Boateng, Michael Johnson and Taarabt (with Bale, Taylor, and Gilberto working in the midfield sometimes)

Forwards (4): Berbatov, Keane, Bent, and Terry Dixon

Quite successful squad with Lennon winning young palyer of hte year, Robinson European Goalkeeper of the Year, and Bent (of all people) getting England Player's Choice Player of the Year. First season I didn't win any cups, didn't even reach any finals, but finished in 5th int he league. This season I've been in 3rd and 4th and play Chelsea in the Carling Cup final and am still in FA and UEFA.

Got FM08 a few months ago. Played it heaps first up and now only now and then. I am sure I will get back into it soon though

2008/2009 - Finished 8th. Didn't progress that far at all in any cup.

09/10 - Finished 5th. Bent scored 38 goals in 46 appearences for me. Dimitar a massive under-achiever so I bought Yakubu as Terry Dixon fractured his skull and was out for 4 months.

2009/2010 - Finished 1st. Man Utd had 2 points over me with 5 games to go, but they only managed two draws in the final 5 games :) I won FA Cup over Chelsea, and only made it to Quarter Final in UEFA (Man Utd went through on away goals). Berbatov was again terrible during the season (10 goals in 33 apperances) but the club still see's him as a God. Man City offered 9 mil for him, but I rejected that.

Currently 3 games into the next season and am 1-1-1. Bent has 5 goals :)
