I'd just come here to ask if you would make it to that match. Which is fine because it looks like I'll be taking my ex-wife's 10 year old son to the match. All of my party buddies backed out on me and my 17 year old just isn't interested anymore.


I'm hoping for a great match. FCN President Roth says he expects a breakthrough from FCN against BVB.

But of course, I'll be rooting for a close BVB victory and for FCN to whip everyone else afterwards..... :D

Currently surely not (especially as Nuremberg is in a very difficult position). He's a great talent, but still has to learn a lot.

Nürnberg - Heimstärke ist das, was man im Abstiegskampf braucht. Auf diese Feststellung legte Hans Meyer schon früher wert: Zuhause möglichst viele Punkte verbuchen - das ist die Pflicht; die Auswärtsspiele sind nur die Kür. Doch genau mit dieser Vorgabe hatte der Club leider zuletzt seine Schwierigkeiten. Am Sonntag (25.07.11, 17.00 Uhr) haben die Cluberer die nächste Chance, Meyers Prinzip zu beherzigen: Borussia Dortmund gastiert im easyCredit-Stadion.

Words cannot even begin to describe how happy this Cluberer over here is!!! I have not yet seen the match....as it airs on delay where I live, but better late, than not at all. I did a mistake and got curious to see the results before the match though (couldn't help myself!).

Your guys came out and took it to my team of gutless wonders! FCN played like they wanted the three points and in the end it was a well-deserved victory!

Hope FCN can keep up that kind of effort until we meet again!

@ footyfan1: I must admit, I didn't see this one coming. I mean, considering we've lost up against some of the real CRAP teams, I didn't think we could stand a chance against BVB. But I am one very happy Cluberer nonetheless. :D

Und auch....ich habe gehört, morgen ist in Dortmund Mitgleiderversammlung und das wird nach der Leistung bestimmt witzig werden, weil die Mannschaft sich den Fans und Mitgleidern stellen muss :(

Congrats on the vital home win (unfortunately I didn't see the game), it was simply time to beat Dortmund after so many years without any victory against them (sorry Keith:-)...

This result should give the guys also a lot of confidence for the important UEFA Cup away match in St. Petersburg next Thursday.

Needless to say, I am not amused, I wanted to be there! That is just about the second time in ....two months or something that he's been at something like that and I wasn't! *schnief* Oh well, next season, yes? And one word: VALZNERWEIHER! :D

PS: And like the little "Franken-dork" that I am, I ordered more stuff at the FCN fanshop (not like I needed any of it, but it was erm....to celebrate the sieg...right??) And I remembered this time to get the most important item of all - my Alexander Stephan Torwarttrikot! My cousin told me that she's pretty sure I just may be the first fan of his to have his Trikot instead of Blazek's or one of the other players. I find that hard to believe, I am sure he has loads of other fans, and I say this because I have impeccable taste and an eye for talent. :D
