I am so happy for my boys, that's the way I like to see them, feeling confident and happy with their performances. A well deserved win! :D
@ Borussia: Sorry for that. I haven't had much free time lately from work. Lots of stupidity running rampant this time of year....so other people's stupidity keeps me busy. But thank you for sharing those links to the videos you found! My cousin recorded the match for me (on ZDF I believe...) so I will get that soon. However, in probably January, I'm getting 10+ more German channels, of which includes DSF, ARD and ZDF, and possibly Franken TV, so I of course can't wait for that, and I won't need my cousin to record DVDs of the boys anymore, I can do it myself! :D
Good job boys, I knew you could do it! http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/cc263/alexanderstephan/fcn.gif

Very important home game against Hertha BSC Berlin. Only a victory counts if they want to avoid a relegation spot during the winter break...
Here's a pre-match report:

06.12.2007:

Two questions for you all: Am I the only one that feels the boys are off to a bad start this year because they lost their spirit when Meyer & Roth both said, ' we over achieved this year - we shouldn't have done so well ' after the DFB Pokal win? I couldn't believe they said that until I heard the recordings myself, at that very moment I thought it had to crush the players.
Secondly - especially to JensLehmannsGirl, how are you getting 10+ channels in Arizona?? I live in Southern California and I have Dish Network with three channels available to me: Deutsche Welle, ProSiebenSat1, and GKino. I watch Bundesliga games every Friday night, Saturday & Sunday mornings - but I'm curious to know how you will be getting so many channels.

I think they mentioned that more in order to cool down the high expectations for this season among the fans and media. I don't think the players "lost their spirit", there's simply a few factors contributing to the current problems! Maybe you have some time to take a look at former discussions about this topic in the old FCN thread...
Cheers and nice greets to sunny CA from cold Franconia.
Btw: Nice to see another Clubberer on this board! :) If you want to introduce yourself briefly, please post HERE (http://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=391602&page=32).
PS: Are you content with David Beckham so far? :-)

I've heard of rumours that the players might be HERE (http://www.christkindlesmarkt.de/) tomorrow evening in the case of a win against Hertha. ;)
Wish you a nice weekend.
Ciao.

I should have taken the time to read the old postings, I live in San Bernardino, CA - lived in Nuernberg for three years Sued Kasern - Merrell Barracks, then took a European Out and live with a girl for another year. Married her and we now travel back and forth every couple years to visit her family - and to watch Der Club play.
I've been to most of the LA Galaxy home games this year, including each game Beckham played in. He only needs to start streching and the stadium stands up & screams. This season sucked - on more levels than one.
I will cheer for the team this coming season, even buy season tickets. If David and the team don't do it this year, then I will consider his coming a mistake. If his job was to only sell t-shirts, he is already done for his five year contract.

And also...in case no one has seen this about Ivan Saenko, he has a hematoma in his knee:

Well...what can I say? Franken-secret. ;)
No, actually, I have DISH also, and it SUCKS. Their "German channels package" is not impressive. They rarely play any games, and in regards to Bundesliga, it's always FC Bayern. And when they play Nationalelf games, they cut half of the player interviews afterwards. Very annoying!
So, here is where you can get the GOOD channels:

I'm not sure how well you understand German, but the site has information in German, and English (Russian too, as they offer Russian prgramming as well). It's worth it though. :)

Congrats on the deserved and vital home win against Hertha! But was that late goal from Pantelic really offside? The scene looked very unclear on my stream...

From what I saw, Malik Fathi was just barely offsides and he was body to body with Pantelic. It would have been harsh on FC Nurnberg though, thoroughly deserved to win. Man we suck on the road.

Just like last year, they picked up a couple wins before the Winterpause, then moved up the table in the Rueckrunde.
Thanks for the IPTV info about the German channels 'Jenslehmanngirl' I thought they existed but never took the time to find them.
