Can you maybe provide me with a link to this article, Keith?
Get last week's SportBild. I said in my message that's where it is.

I buy it every week. Much of what they print is bullshit, but every now and then they get things right or they give you good leads on something about to happen.
As of yesterday, they had not put the Misimovic interview on line.

Apparently Roth's company ARO is in Financial trouble. All I could find online was a link to Blöd-Zeitung (http://www.bild.de/BILD/sport/fussball/bundesliga/vereine/nuernberg/2008/06/04/michael-a-roth/firma-aro-loehne-mitarbeiter-geldnot,geo=4732326.html)
Maybe you guys know anything?! Does this have any influences towards FCN?!
Might be a chance to get rid of that *%&$ and actually become a fairly sympathetic club again :D (in my eyes, that is of course)

I'm not sure, but my wife mentioned it today when I was talking to her. I'll let you know if I discover anything.

Good question...
It shouldn't. I thought they said the club was on it own sound financial footing a couple of years ago.
If they still need Roth, why did he come so close to being ousted during that last club presidential election??

Looks like Pinola will stay in Nürnberg:

According to this "Bild" report (http://www.bild.de/BILD/sport/fussball/bundesliga/vereine/stuttgart/2008/06/25/schaefer-mit-nuernberg-einig/torwart-zurueck-zu-seinem-ex-klub,geo=4942892.html) Rafael Schäfer is on the verge of a move back to FCN.
The article says the clubs have agreed on a transfer fee and Schäfer will sign a 3 year deal with FCN in the next day or two.
We'll see if that's true. I'm always skeptical about "Bild" reports, but I think this one is most likely true.

I'm really not surprised since Lehman (spelling) is heading to Stuttgart. Personally I think there may can a mistake on him, but that's their business. I have always thought that Schaefer was a better fit in Nürnberg. I think he'll do well, if the story is correct.

It seems he's pretty comfortable in Nürnberg...;)
Btw: FCN have just sign a back-up for Pinola (on loan from Hearts of Midlothian).

This past weekend in a pre-season friendly 1FCN defeated 1. FC Lichtenfels 0-3 with goals by Daniel Gygax (30.) and Marek Mintal (55./72.), in front of 4,200 fans.

mister+lady is history!!! (http://www.fcn.de/index.php?id=18387)
FCN has a new main and shirt sponsor in energy company Areva!
Areva is based in my German "hometown" of Erlangen.
The building you see in the article is about three blocks from my ex-wife's place.

The colours just don't fit, Dortmund would be better.

I should have waited until now to have bought last years jersey, :( I would have saved some Euro's, now that the old ones are going at almost 40-50% off from what they were last year.

I'm surprised no one here has mentioned FCN picking up Christian Eigler from Bielefeld. I thought "Borussia" would especially mention it as Eigler was once with his beloved Greuther Fürth.
Or has it been mentioned and I missed it?
It is also a "return" as Eigler was once with FCN during his childhood.
I think Eigler will score lots of goals for FCN this season. I think he will be an important player for this team.
