Well no not really, he deserved it but hopefully England can bounce back. I think FA made blunder by giving him a contract, I really don't understand why they did it.
Does anyone have any idea who the replacement might be?

Only confirms what we knew what was going to happen. If we get O'Neill, I'll cry. I want Scolari, or Capello.

Might be long wait to get a new guy into the job. If they had displayed more patience with Scolari we wouldve had him in charge. The rushed to make an appointment before the 2006 world cup and it was costly.

Jose and Capello are free at the moment, we could get someone in straight away.

id love to have Mourinho but I doubt he would take it.
The only national team he wants to manage is portugal.

His reign is the shortest in the history of the English national team.

Maureen won't take the job. There's really no point in mentioning him.

Unless Barwick stands down, the entire problem isnt solved. Yes, a symptom has been cured but not the disease. The FA needs dismantling for any real or lasting change to happen. If not, we will get O'Neill who I suspect doesnt have the sack to tell players of the stature of Lampard or Gerrard to "shut up, sit down and be quiet" and we are back to where we started from.

Seriously though I can exhale. That nightmare is over.

another Fact...
McClaren leaves his post as statistically the worst England manager of all time

No surprise there. Once it was announced he got the job, we all winced for a reason. I thought we'd win the group easily when it was announced, but when McSven got the job, my confidence dropped down to almost zero.
