Ok guys yes I have alot of time in my hands as I am in comp class haha and its a joke any way
December - dont think any fifa day's but hopefully we can have another Panama style friendly which is just of home based players, even a friendly against Mexico in Mexico so we can use some of those players can be key as welll
Janurary - its The African Cup
-US, and many African teams, Swiss all have friendlies around this time think the 18th is a fifa day
-Also a home based team game w/o euro stars wouldnt be bad either we have great talented players at home and should use them
-After Jan, no african team has friendlies hopefully we can play a Nigeria, Cameroon, or Costa Marfil type team
Feb- finally fifa days
-2/6 and 2/26 seem to be when most teams are playing friendlies
- Italy only has 1 friendly all next year throwing that out their to the fed, they did play Ecuador and we are better so why not, and have 2/26 free, play Spain 2/28
March - fifa days
-3/26 another fifa day
Its great that we have 8 points but we need to try out new players and to fix and build up on our team chemistry that at times seems to be lacking.
I dont want to go to Peru thinking that Macnelly is our 10, and Aldo sucks and shouldnt be on the team only to find out that Macnelly is only a 1/2 time player. We need these games to see if he is the 10 we are looking for as well as to replace the 3 players who won be able to play next game
we need to have clear CB choices sure we have great candiantes but they need to play.
A new DM and we have many choices again but they need to be given shots.... NO MORE BANGUERO !!
NEW Lbs PLEASE NO More Vallejo
Build up Striker Chemistry, I want Falcao and Renteria to finish each other sentences they know each other so well

Yo chill out... One game does't determine if a player sucks or not. Aldo played bad but it doesn't mean he sucks... Breath a little and relax....:p

never said Aldo sucks just I dont want people saying Macnelly is Pibe #2 and Aldo sucks after 1 game. Macnelly starting also doesnt make the team do anything!!!
We need friendlies to see where these guys are at as I see them as the best 2 #10s in Colombia, think Stallin Motta is up there too. these guys all need to be given time and friendlies to prove themselves and see if they work or not. One thing is for sure we dont need Gio and it looks like Tessor shouldnt come back either
we need games to build our chemistry. Maybe that 4-3-2-1 formation isnt bad but because no team in colombia uses it and our players havent played it ever its too much to ask for b4 a huge game like Argentina to be like k ferrira no u and Tessor never play'd together but I want u guys to be magic
ferrira also gets the short hand of the stick but Pinto doesnt use him correctly, same with Tessor, Chitiva and Castrillon
Another thing Colombia needs to stop removing their shirts after we score I know it was a big game and moment but WE CANT LOSE BUSTOS HE IS OUR RIQUELME !!! If a Yellow against Peru then its going to be a real hard game against Ecuador.

agreed! Our boys aren't being used correctly and they need to settle down a little with the celebrations. I know it's a big thing and it's not like you get to score on Argentina everyday and win and i'm not going to lie i probably would've done the same. But we are going to lose players cause of too many yellow cards. It was funny last night it went from celebrating and hugs and beer going everywhere to yelling and bitching about why the hell did he take off his shirt and so on and so forth.

True! Macnelly is going be Macnelly not El Pibe and he is going to make a name for himself. just watch! He needs time to build up his game, just all our players do and you'll see them go far...

link (http://colombia.com/futbol/autonoticias/Noticias/2007/11/21/DetalleNoticia40574.asp)
EFE

Macnelly/Tessor wouldnt work.... think start tessor in 1st half and Macnelly in the 2nd. We need 1 #10
Walter Moreno is just a short term answer to a long term problem that should be solved by either Josmier Mosquera or Cristian Zapata.
De La Cuesta is in the 2nd Division, and there are so many other great players that can be our CBs
Rivas needs to prove himself in Italy, hopefully loaned to a smaller club as he did impress during champs league but he has brain farts guys much like cordoba
Cassiera,Pino,Guarin,Toja, Oltavaro... hell just send out the 2005 sub 20 team that arent starters right now :) haha
Best thing is in 7 months we will have ELKIN SOTO !!!:D and nothing makes me happier than if Falcao was a starter at Barca or something haha

i see us beating ecuador and peru, which would give us 14 points, already half way through classification and we would have only played 6 games, which is less than half of the games played.
Remember when we were saying the home games against Argentina were points we had to make up away...lol, those silly days.

Crazy! You must be the only person I know that doesn't like cookies. Have you ever tried white chocolate macadamia nut? They are awesome.
With regard to the friendlies - I agree with you that we need to give Juan Pablo Pino and Cristian Zapata a chance to integrate with the side, but I think its vital that the core of the side get more time together and in that way maintain the style of play we've seen in the first four fixtures.

Basque Country are playing Catalonia in a friendly on 29th December in Bilbao anyway, so Colombia would not be able to play either of them. Basque Country would be a good game - they are similar in strength to Colombia. Catalonia are not quite as good. Regardless of how good opponents these teams would be, the fact is that they won't bring FIFA ranking points - hence I think it is a good idea to play FIFA members on these 2 dates.
Any news on who the December friendlies will be against?
