Over the last couple of days I've been getting a lot of heat from RBNJ fans about Bull Bashing. Its hard to get away from these guys. They are constantly over your shoulder and on your back. Telling one what to do and who we are NYC team supporters should root for and not root for. They then proceed to say how they are sick of all the Bull Bashing. Yet they want to come into our forum, troll and then not get bashed? NO WAY. Anyhow that discussion leads to this poll. The poll question is simple. WHO WILL BE OUR NATURAL RIVAL?? I would like this to be a non cowardly poll. If you vote, you must post your vote on the boards. Simple and straightforward. The reason behind this method is to avoid people coming in and throwing off the results.

So with all that said WHO IS GOING TO BE OUR NATURAL RIVAL?

1. RBNJ
2. DC UNITED
3. NEW ENGLAND
4. PHILADELPHIA
5. LA
6. SOMEONE ELSE (PLEASE NAME THE TEAM)

Obviously New Jersey....
But... I think when Philly get a team, that would be
a great rivalry.

I'm more than sure that Philly will want to get in on the action, along with DC and the Revs. I expect that DC will reach out to us in a sort of alliance against RBNJ. So we might end up being sister supporter groups. Anyhow its just a prediction and nothing more. Philly will naturally throw us heat because of the Mets-Phillies rivalry and I'm sure that will be a nice healthy and fun game. But far and large I believe that RBNJ will naturally align up as our primary rival. I'm not looking to antagonize any RBNJ fans but I am seeing a pattern developing.

The poll is still young and there are many votes still in need of casting. So lets keep voting and see what happens.

Alliance with DC???

You make that alliance and I'll Ruin it along side with with LOS BOLSOS DE NY the very same day..... I can see it now they come to a tail gate invited by Torero and they get ambushed right there and then by me and my pals..they lose flags and shirts and we leave and dont even go to the game so we dont deal with potential NYPD...

Me and My friends sent a DC Supporter to a hospital when we did LA12 Supporters in 121 for the "Metros"... but the DC fan should thank me and my pals seeing how he won a nice lump cash to settle out of court with Metro MLS and NJSEA.... I came to know this when charlie stillitano called me to a meeting to tell me what had happened a year after the fact...

NY = NO ALLIANCE OR FRIENDSHIPS!!!

torero I think your own personal hatred toward NJ is getting the best of you...the day you travel down and deal with their backward lot in DC you will rack up these jokers as the enemy as well......Unless you want a crew that makes friends every one and want to hold hands......

my......... you are right...

Like the Time Newells Told Nacional that they wanted to be friends (after a beatdown they gave us in Rosario) they were so afraid of the reprisal they wanted to be friends and return the flags they has stolen from us in the 1st round... In the final we said we wanted to be friends too... but under the condition that they return the flags which they did and when they came with our stolen flags they were recieved with a Uruguayan BBQ and wine that night the leaders and a few others from NOB were beat up and hospitalized......one was shot but survived and that was the extent of the "friendship"

always remember 1988 it was open season on all NOB fans that dared to go to Montevideo
LEPRA CAGON!!!

in a few years they will forget about this post and you say at the 1st NY DC match up we are going to be friends come to our tailgate.... Open season on BURICRAT TRASH FROM THE CAPITAL........

When they run it will be very remeniseant of Mookie willson running from Home to 1st on a bunt........AND where buckner let the ball go by there at that very same spot a DC fan laid out Busted and open!!!

94.12%!!! Who was the one saying that the RBNJ wasnt our primary and natural rival?

While on hiatus I went to Argentina and I had the priviledge to attend Boca-River with Los Borrachos Del Tablon. Let me tell you that it was crazy. I learned so much. Anyhow the history of these two teams says that they started out as one and broke off into two. They played a soccer game for the field and the continued use of the shirt. Hence the rivalry began.

This isnt going to be much different. A part of RBNJ will come home to this new team and the rivalry will fuel the fire. We will become partners in destiny, because its fate. I'm sure that all can understand that, on both sides!

Whenever this game is played, its going to be pandemonium! Finally "REAL" atmosphere at an MLS game.

That is of course if the BULLS decide to cross the rivers and support their team. Likewise goes for NYC team fans.

When I set up the Poll I asked that people vote as well as post their vote. I did this to try and protect the integrity of the poll from trollers and flamers. Most did not follow the instructions but I counting the votes and everything seems fair. Now the counts are off and the person that voted for Philadelphia has left no name. Bryan can you fix this please? If you cant, I will undersand.

I absolutely love the results of this POLL. It's just proves everything I've been saying on BS for the past year. Granted that its still early in the polling process but I have faith its going to continue along this path.

Trust me, ESC will be out in full force in NYC. If you are trying to say that Metro supporters don't travel to away games, then look at some of the pictures and videos of the away leg for this year's playoff in New England. The game was also played in a nor'easter.

Obviously they are going to go to the game. This is a little jab at the RBNJ fans. (wink):D

I would not be surprised to see a 50-50 split of fans at NYCFC and Red Bull games. The 100 or 200 fans that travel to see NE or DC play in New York just can't compete with that.
