I won't go into the gory details (about which I have NO chance of being subjective), but I've been "asked to leave" Hattrick.
I've asked how long my ban is for, and have gotten no answer.
Anyone else ever in this boat? How long until you can reapply?
thanks in advance

I think it's permanent, and I think I speak for everyone else here in saying, "WE WANT DETAILS!"

Please tell me you were not one of the ones who called their GM and argued with them over issues.
Seriously though that sucks.

It does suck, but no, I'd ever call anyone, or even send a bunch of emails going through the seven stages of grief.
In the "we're closing you down" email it says you can respond with any mitigating circumstances, and I sent something back explaining myself and offering to post on the newbies board a "what I did, why I thought I wouldn't get caught and how I was wrong" post.
I haven't heard back.
As for details, suffice it to say that I broke the rules, but justified it to myself because I thought:
a) I got a shiiiiiiiiity placement when I started
b) I only did it to stay up the first "year"
c) I didn't think a lowly series V team would get any attention, especially if I kept it low-key.
We'll see

I assume you were operating two teams??
I think if you wait about a month, register again, and only run one team, you'll be back in the game.
You may have to use a different email address, I don't know.

Why should they ever let you have a team again? That would just encourage other people to cheat as well.
Those of us who play the game fairly (and yes, I was in D.V too last year) don't need to try competing against cheaters.
How on earth did you think you wouldn't get caught? Cheating in hattrick is very detectable; I actually detected a four-team cheating ring a few months ago and got those teams banned. As long as people in your series pay attention to your transfer history, you'll never get away with it.

It sounds like you broke a pretty serious rule (I'd guess you had 2 teams and you transferred funds/players between them). If that's the case, you don't really deserve a team in Hattrick. If not, well, explain yourself better.
