If you put the eight players named above into a royal rumbe, who do you think would be the last one standing?
I'm just trying to reach the pinnacle of silly threads. :)

I think the last two standing would be Adin Brown and Zach Thorton. Essentially, Frankenstein versus the Juggernaut. Juggernaut wins.
I don't think this is silly at all.

How could you put in Kanu? The guy gets broken picking up a fork.
How abouty Eddie Lewis? He's a little guy with a big attitude.
Thor will crush all comers and still have more left over.

Keane by a country mile. The only person who could come close is Effenberg or Gravesen (maybe Kahn or Tofting), but Keane's just too much of a bad mother-SHUT YO MOUTH!

I think the thread needs to be redone. First, put people in with some sort of relatively similar size. In other words, not goalkeepers.
- Roy Keane
- Stig Tofting
- Lee Bowyer
- Gattuso
- Jens Jeremies
- Alan Smith
- Steven Gerrard
- Patrick Vieira
That list seems more reasonable. Not quite sure who would win. Probably Gerrard.

Why isn't Shaka Hislop on the list? The guys like seven feet tall!

No Keane's just a dirty bastard. Doesn't mean he'd win a fight.
I still voted for him though - but only because everyone else on the poll is a complete poof.

Gattuso would chew up everyone mentioned on the poll and everyone else mentioned in this thread and spit them out and then move on to the rest of the footballing world. The bloke's a psycho.

Not so much Gattuso's size but his toughness. His desire to win (as seen on the field) would make him prevail. Plus, Keane tends to walk away during times of conflict.

Size isn't everything, and Keane is the toughest of the lot, not to mention he would fith dirty. There are plenty of players bigger than Thornton (Hislop, Niall Quinn (retired), Rio Ferdinand, probably Heskey, etc). Thornton, btw, is 6'3/210lbs (according to soccerage.com)

Keane is a small dude whose bark is way more ferocious than his bite. Mick McCarthy would have easily put Roy in pocket and made him his 2nd string bitch servicing truckers on some trans siberian highway if they ever laced up or faced off. Just because you yell/bulge your eyes/turn red doesn't make you hard. Keane would be the first one to submit if faced with the likes of Gattuso,Viera,Makalele,Terry Hurlock,Gravesen,Tofting,Effenberg and even probably Nicky Butt. I guess people are too easily impressed by simple histrionics.

For the people who are saying Keane would be the first to walk away, me thinks no. He used to be an amateur boxer, take from that what you want.

Keane is the most intense, the most ferocious. He used to be an amatuer boxer, he grew up in a sh!thole in north Cork, he is known to do dirt things "Haaland Deserved It!"). He's no giant, but he's not small... about 5'10-5'11, and he's built, too. He's just the obvious winner

Keano is a tough cookie, but Zach Thornton is huge. I'd say it would be between those two but Zach would win. This may sound like a pro-america rant, but honestly, if you've never seen Zach Thornton, look up a pic.
