I've recently been checking out Sons of Ben Websitehttp://www.sonsofben.net (http://www.sonsofben.net/)
And I have to say, I'm very impressed at their organization
for a team that also doesn't exist yet.
Even though I desperately want a second team in NYC,
I have to say these guys from Philly deserve a team first.
ANYWAY, I want to issue a challenge to all fans of what will be
a future NYC team.
1. If you want to pledge allegiance to NYC2 and are willing to
wait for a team to be awarded to us, please join the Borough Boys, which is now our 1st official supporters group for NYC2.
2. For the Borough Boys : please spread the word, and get as many people
as you can involved and active for this cause.
I think the more organized we are, the better off we are to who a future
owner we have a fanbase for a second team.
Sons of Ben as of now have 540 Members, and 45 active members and
they are almost 1 year old.
I think if we give it a real go, we can surpass this, or match it by Jan 2009
And furthermore, if Philly and NYC get new teams...
Sons of Ben vs Borough Boys will be a great supporters matchup.
