It was bad enough I watched part of Manure/Celtic last night. Well it was in Seattle. Biggest crowd ever in Seahawk Stadium (So, it's only been open a year)
And second biggest crowd ever for Footie in the US (Second to to 'girls' WC final)
The local media here are asking if 'soccer' will ever catch on in this country :rolleyes:

I heard that on FSW last night too. I think they meant since the women's world cup, as there were larger crowds during the 94 Men's World Cup.

Official text comms blames Kirkland for the goal, my video was too jerky to tell.
Sattabout got their goal with a lob.
Ref's watch must have stopped, no injuries and he played 10 minutes of injury time! Finally HT 1-1.

Been watching the match. Liverpool look on the whole fairly lousy. Henchoz looks half asleep, Traore is just awful (the reason it's 1-1). Some promising stuff from Le Tallec, a nice left foot. More thoughtless and unsuccessful passing from Cheyrou.
Kirkland is the only reason it's not 3-1 Thailand at the half. Heskey looked ok. Let's hope the 2nd half subs can actually do something with the ball besides hand it over to the other team.

Kopite: The Thailand goal was CLEARLY Djimi Traores fault, couldn't clear the ball, or even get a grasp on it, and the opponent snuck right by to lob it over Kirkland 1-on-1.

Like I said, I couldn't see it (poor video) and had only the text comms to go by. For whatever reason they blamed (wrongly it seems) Kirkland. Dunno why, but the text comms is often inaccurate.
