Jaime in Bolivian World Cup Qualifiers (R)

Jaime's continuing his role in Bolivia's not so excellent adventure (so far) in it's World Cup qualifiers. He played 60 minutes earlier today before being subbed for young Juan Arce as Bolivia lost 3-0 in Argentina.

Could be a long campaign as Bolivia has only 1 point after their first 3 games.

Looks like Jaime came on as a sub for the last 10 minutes with Bolivia beating Venezuela 3-2. Then Venezuela scored 3 goals to win and move up, at least temporarily to 3rd place in Conmebol qualifying.

What happened, was IMO sanchez ********ed up bringing in Moreno, but Martins was cramping up in his legs, so he took him out for moreno. They were up 3-2, with like 10 mins left. Big mistake there, he should have brought in a defender, but who knows it could have been the other way around, but that sub killed it becasue in the next coming play Arias gets injured, and guess what? No subs left!!! So what happens? He continues to play hurt, we are tied 3-3, ok it sucks but we are going to tie. Then what happens? Arias is hurt and something is wrong with his right leg i believe, so the ball gets crossed in to the box with defenders around, its going around the goalie, and they are expecting him to jump out and punch it away from Maldonado, well guess what his leg is screwed so he cant run out quick enough, he jumps and misses, while maldonado skims it with his head to deflect it into the back lower net.

So after that goal they say screw it, and get him off the field, Arias is so hurt he cant walk so he goes out in the stretcher. Raldes tries to put on the goalie gloves and shirt, but instead some other guy does it, forget his name #5?? But he gets in goal, the second the opening kick off happens, venezuela get possesion some how, and maldonado again i believe, from like 30meters out notices the defender/goalie is too far out of the box and shoots it, which results in a goal due to us having a defender in goal not a GOALIE!!! God DAMN IT!

Not a good start for Bolivia. Hopefully things will change in 08
