Found this in Digg.com..

Do they really listen to this in the locker room, or is this piped in elevator music from DC Sports Commission throughout RFK? I really hope it's the latter..

Edited: OK, I just realized this is older footage, just picked up by another blog site.. But still... Sorry if this has already been hashed through in an older thread.

If you find that old video "very disturbing" then you have far more serious problems than that video.

Whoever's website that is should get a job at the Washington Times. He got the required number of facts correct to write for them.

Such as reporting that Warburg Pincus was about to buy the team? Or maybe that Richard Gough was about to be hired as our coach?

Oh right, that was the other -- and inexplicably sainted -- paper.

Now now, we don't have to be harsh.

I'll get over this, I don't think it'll be very difficult.

More like saying the US National team beat Uruguay at RFK in 2002 because of the "style" and "flair" exhibited by the players on the US squad of African heritage.

Sorry Chumley, but that is one funny ass video, and one funny ass blog entry.
Unicorns and rainbows? Reciting poetry? Braiding one anothers hair? Group sex? A classic English piss-take!
Especially funny cause United let it out in the first place.

I don't know about sainted, but let's see... one paper gives us a daily blog written by one of the two or three most respected soccer writers nationally; the other covers soccer on a whenever-the-fuk basis, and writes a (inaccurate) story two days before MLS Cup '04 about how United are planning to dump their starting goalie.

Inexplicable.

That clip was funny on its own, but it's even better with that blog. Puts in a new perspective.

I read the Post regularly and I never caught these stories.

When were they written and who wrote them?
