hey everyone,

quick question - i am in the middle of planning a business trip to england and i am trying to make it coincide with an EPL game so i can watch one in person for the first time. one of the ones i'd like to see is chelsea vs liverpool on sat feb 9th 2008. obviously this is a big game (i'd think), and i wanted to know what my chances are of getting a ticket to this game if i were to buy one when the tickets go on general sale (which according to the ticket availability website is jan 28th).

so, what are my chances of getting this ticketand how much do tickets generally cost? also, not sure if you guys would know the answer to this, but if i don't get this ticket then i'd likely try to get arsenal vs blackburn on that same date instead - what do you think my chances of getting that on general sale would be?

thanks for any help

General sale, effectively no shot. From scalpers? This game is going to be pricey.

Well I'm not sure about you, but my "friend" in the ticket agency has got me 7 tickets which is more than enough. If there are any left, I will tell you a week before the game and maybe we could arrange to meet up to give you one?

LGS: I'd be very interested in seeing that game too. Ill be travelling back home to Brighton at end of January. Will be in UK for 3 weeks. Please let me know if you have a spare ticket. Cheers.

I have the same question, but for the Reading game on Jan. 30th. Its a Wednesday match, so are my chances any better?

Kev_England, I'll be able to tell you if I can get you one or not by Tuesday.
