For all you man utd fans out there,

Fergie passed out the biggest chance he had to buy 2 AWESOME players which he could definitely use, and much better players than Djemba Djemba and Bellion.

NIHAT AND KOVACEVIC. They are at Real Sociedad, they cost Real Sociedad 5 or 7 million euros BOTH. Real Sociedad Needs the money, and were selling em' both for 30 million euros.

If 30 million euros is what you got for Beckham, why not spend it on the BEST midfielder last season, and a GREAT forward, who plays completely different to Ruud, so the 3 of them can play together.

I think that once we're mentioned as interested in any player in the world, the price goes up by 10 mil (each player).

Bellion looked pretty damned good out there. Of course, the Celtic pretty crappy.

But I'm really wondering how he didn't get more into a terrible Sunderland team. At least he would have added something different.

I know he was injured for a while... but when he wasn't, I don't care how "unsettled" he was... he could have contributed something if he's nearly as good as he looked tonight.

You see it in the performances of a player who plays one night on the Reserve Squad and is anonymous, but then plays days later with the first team, and watch them go! It's really astonishing. Although nothing compares to watching a class 1st Teamer play with the Reserves. Hah hah hahhh---

My experiences end w/high school except for intramural collegiate stuff.

We had one of those wonderful football coaches (grid-iron style) who blew his first job, then got transferred to the soccer team so the school wouldn't have to eat his contract.

I'm told that most American high school coaches are criticized for emphasizing athleticism over everything else. Not our coach - if you had *any* "tricks," you were guaranteed a 1st team spot. We might get our butts kicked on the field, but I bet we could beat any other starting XI in a keepie uppie contest.

Which essentially meant, half the people on the bench and JV teams were actually better players.

So my experience would certainly confirm what you said, though not for the reason you suggest ;).

Which is all beside the point. I still have trouble believing that Bellion couldn't have offered *something* to that team.
