<----- not a big fan of watermarks on shirts.

funny. the lettering on the italy away looked nice but looks goofy on the czech shirt.

looks like puma's going for that vintage design too.

I haven't really seen a new shirt that i really like yet.

I think the numbering looks a bit strange on the czech shirt because the shirt has red trim. On the Italy one its just white and blue.

Did Hugo Sanchez back off on his 'when we wear green, the players blend in with the grass' comment? He was the one who said El Tri should wear white at home and red on the road.

what makes the puma numbers so ugly IMO is that fine line, break, stripe which cuts them. the template itself is classy (with the collar)

german gk looks good aswell

any news on the England Away 08-10 ?
should be out in Feb08

brazil is really similar to the previous one but than again, not much that u can do with a retro jersey.

maybe they should have added the colar like in patrick s. pic (although i'm not a collar fan but that way it would have looked more "celebrating 50 years since they won their 1st WC"-ish :) )

I'm really happy with Brasil's jerseys since 2006, enough of the bright yellow and crazy stripes, logos and what not all over the place. If nike keeps with the plain simple and nice yellow I'll keep buying it. I must have over 20 Brasil jerseys by now.

the GK kit looks quite a bit like the adidas Real Madrid GK template..

i like how the new Nike jerseys seem clean and simple, granted they lack anything memorable but thats not a bad thing

I saw the new South Africa shirt in the shops today - I don't like the colours - but the design and 3/4 sleeves are nice. The shirt is made of an interesting material - it is called Adidas 365 I think.

I never bought the shirt though - it was the equivilent of 40 odd gbp - too high for my liking...

PUMA kits for Ghana 2008 unveiled

PUMA have released their new kit designs for the eight teams in their stable at the 2008 African Nations Cup finals in Ghana next year.
The sportswear giant act as technical supplier to Angola, Cameroon, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Senegal, Togo, Egypt and Tunisia, half of the 16-team field at the tournament that runs from January 20 to February 10.

Each team has a new shirt, which features anatomically placed seams and raised front collar for superior aerodynamics, as well as ergonomically placed stretch insert 'flex bow' for ideal freedom of movement.

PUMA will also be unveiling new shirt designs for its teams, including World champions Italy, taking part in Euro 2008.

The away shirts are part of PUMA’s v1.08 collection that will be launched globally in January 2008, featuring lightweight moisture-wicking materials, mesh layers and welded-technology in its performance apparel pieces.

The shirts provide improved freedom of movement and fit from older versions, including special back construction with two-piece mesh fabric.

The inner mesh layer includes small holes and is hydrophilic – thereby absorbing water and wicking away a player’s sweat, while the outer layer provides the ideal smooth surface to print the player names and numbers.
