Well they did copy the lop-sided Total 90 template from them in terms of putting the logo on one side...

Actually Adidas had the lop-sided logo on their jerseys in the 1980's. I don't have any pics, but I noticed it while watching highlights of a Portugal NT game played in the early 80's.

Sorry bout that. I just haven't read this thread in a while, and just came across it. I too thought the lob-sided logo was a Nike thing, but turns out it had been around before with Adidas.

And for what it's worth, the wordmark, Rev logo, and adidas logo both appear to have been Photoshopped in (look closely). They'll be more proportionate in real life.

Also, yes, the wordmark looks like like something from MS paint, but we've had it since 1996 when the team was founded, so it has a soft spot in our hearts. It'll be replaced once we get a sponsor.

By lob-sided, we mean having the apparel manufacturer's logo up on the shoulder. Originally an Adidas design in the 1980's, it was brought back by Nike for the Total 90's.

ahhh I was thinking maybe you were referring to that but lop-sided to me means the logo be askew instead of centered.

The Total 90's would of been Portugal's best kit if it wasn't for that circle
