whats with all this tight fit clingy material for new kits? what about fat bastards like me?????
we arnt all adonis :(
i think they do it so i reduces the chance of the players pulling shirts or even getting their shirts pulled. because noone wheres baggy shirts like 1996 anymore.

If people are going to pull shirts they're going to do it regardless of the material. It's not like I think "oh that shirts a bit too tight, better not pull him back" when I'm playing

I think he means its harder to grab the jersey because there is less material to grab.... notice how american football jerseys evolved to what they are now

It's all about technology-based fashion trends, look over the history of competitive soccer and u'll see yo-yoing from tight to loose back and forth...
Look at Nike's "system of dress" bball movement for the definition of technology-driven fashion....

I just hope we dont go back to Tight short shorts from the 70s

I doubt that would ever happen, because hip-hop and basketball fashion have become so huge, so most people like their shorts baggier. Although it still is a matter of choice for the individual.

Not Quite ...
But Manchester United will be wearing a special kit in memory of the 50th anniversay of the munich air disaster when they play Manchester City at home on the 10th February.
The premier league have allowed them to wear the kit, so have nike and AIG and the shirt will be without premier league patches, lettering/numbering, and sponsers. Shirts will just be numbered 1-11 so anyone who plays out of that range will have a different shirt for the game.
Nice idea.

That is a nice touch. Surprised the sponsors let them do it to be honest, let alone the Premier League. Maybe the ham-Fergler threatened the hairdryer or something.

That Mexican Keeper Jersey almost reminds me of something Jorge Campos would have worn.
As for the tighter kits, its not that you can't grab them b/c they're tight but they make it easier to see if your shirt is being pulled, hence more likely to get a call in your favor

The Argentine shirts make sense due to apertura/clausura, but Eredivisie?
