I was wondering since there is hardly any talk about the FC Barcelona membership idea, what is everybody's ideas of what you would like to change or bring to the table?

I was reading the article a couple days ago by MATTHEW GASCHK and had a quote from Drew Carey about the membership group that got me thinking about what I would like changed. Here's the QUOTE:

"If you don't like the job he's doing, if he doesn't have a winning team, if you don't like the product, if you don't think the hot dogs taste good when you go to the stadium, you can just vote him out," Carey said, with co-owner and general manager Adrian Hanauer grinning in the background.

Now I don't want to vote out MR Hanauer, but since this might be a possibility and we all have access to his email and he responds. Maybe we could put a quality list together to email him when the time comes. I'll start off:

1. I would like a better beer selection(it's going to be hot out and I like my beer and Qwest beer selection sucks)

2. Tailgating in the North lot or a designated place would be nice.

3. Open up the exhibition center(what ever they call it now) and have a place to take the kids, so they can get their face painted and kick the balls around. Like they do for the Seahawks games.

4. Allow flags and what ever the supporter group needs, or wants to bring in for the games to be stored away in a place that we don't need to haul them in every time.

5. No cheerleaders! We'll have a supporters group to do that.

6. I want to see World Cup Qualifiers in Qwest.

7. And go get KAKA, he might want to get out of ITALY after all the hooliganism that goes on. His Quote:

"In a couple of hours' time when I join the national team, my colleagues will ask me, 'What happened in Italy?' " Kaka, a Brazilian, said. "These acts of violence risk keeping the star players and champions away from playing in Serie A. Italy is losing credibility."

Anybody else have some ideas they would like Mr Hanauer to change or have done?

I have one more idea:

Get Comcast to pick up the HD Net channel.

I can't stand the dishes. I just got rid of them last year. There is Click which is in my area and Click has HD Net, but Comcast has more HD channels.

I know Comcast is adding a few more HD channels soon, USA and some others but I don't know it they are including HD Net. If anybody knows let me know.

As kk13 said, very similar to what we have been discussing on www.WeAreECS.com

Trains from Tacoma to Qwest Field on all match days! No driving!

Yes, I forgot that one. I live in Fife and tried to take the Sounder train to the FC Dallas game and what a joke it was going to be. Thankfully the traffic report was good.

just to add to the list, and I do have some faith that this will be done, but have a legit team store, far above the piddly poo stuff they have now. I want to be able to get an authentic jersey with whatever name and number I want on the back. At sonics games they take down what seat you're at and deliver it to you during the game

Not to mention that at Qwest they should be all about "Quality of Service."

:D

When I had season tickets to the Huskies we would meet at a bar, and for $15.00 you got two beers and a hot dog. Then we would jump on a greyhound type of bus and we would sing songs and just party it up. It would park just outside the stadium and would leave 15 minutes right after it was over. The Seahawks might do something like this already. I know that they do metro bus.

It was nice because you didn't have to worry about driving home. And when we won the party kept going.

This is another option that would be a lot of fun. I'm pretty sure Olympia or Tacoma, maybe Everett or Yakima could put something like this together.

Great way to learn the songs and meet people and pre funk.:D
