OT: Washington Capitals games

(I posted this on the Barra forum, but since it's open to everyone, I'll post here too.)


A lot of you know about it already, but a bunch of us hit a couple Caps games last year. We had close to 80 people at each game. We stood, sang, and cheered on the Captials! I've picked out 8 games and reserved a large block of seats for each. Here is our first game.

You can pay via Paypal to Easbay@mac.com. I will accept cash payment on gameday, but I definitely prefer paypal. If you want to reserve tickets and pay on gameday, I'll want to confirm you still want the tickets within 24 hours of the game as I need to pay for the tickets up front. Don't want to be stuck with extras.

We will meet at RFD to distribute tickets and grab a few pints. RFD is located at 810 7th St near the Verizon Center. It's between H and I.

No, its the NHL's stupid ass schedule. We play our SE division rivals (if you really want to call them that) 8 freakin times each in a season now. *YAWN YAWN*, while teams like Colorado, Los Angeles, SJ, Vancouver, Minnesota, Dallas...etc (Western conf teams) make it out here once every few seasons. ( the Vancouver Canucks were just here for the first time in 3 years last month!)

part of the attendance problem is that there isnt much excitement in the schedule anymore. Its the same damn teams over, and over, and over, and over.... it gets boring. It doesnt surprise me in the least, with how bad they suck, and all these same teams every other night, that thier weeknight attendances rarely break 10K (im talkin actual butts in seats) anymore.

They are changing their scheduling system next season, so we will be more different teams. You may get your wish next season.
