Hey guys I am a big football fan from the US but its tough to keep up to date other then reading online is there a free or cheap way to watch the NU games (england,us,germany, italian etc) so they don't have every game and its annoying to watch teams I dont care about all the time. Any ideas??

You pretty much have to have Fox Soccer Channel and Setanta Sports to make sure you have a better chance of getting the Newcastle games. That's going to run you $27 a month on DirecTV or something similar on Dish Network. Setanta isn't available in the US in any other provider as of yet. If you can accept listening to the games, you can subscribe for the audio feeds through Newcastle World (if NUFC are the only club you're interested in) for about $70 a year (after some cheap introductory rate), through the club website.

Another option is to find a bar or restaurant which has the channels. Lots of bars have Fox Soccer Channel now, and several have Setanta as well. A quick Google search showed me two in the Boston area that claim to have Setanta, Champions at the Marriot on Huntington Avenue and the Green Briar Irish Pub, I'm sure they are more. As for cost effective, you might be better off springing for satellite to get Setanta then paying an ongoing bar bill, but for the occasional game, it is an option.
