Looks like the aftermath of Sepp Blatter's speach as gotten the wheels turning for a possible 2014 bid for the World Cup.

The great thing about the world cup bid is that regardless of whether we get the cup or not, the govenment (state and federal) are interested in the game.
I just hope that this enquiry into the game isn't like the last 3 - 4 which have resulted in nothing. Soccer Australia has even refused to make public the recommendations. I am just hoping that now the government is involved, Socccer Australia will be forced to finally implement the recommendations of the enquiry.
