I found this interesting. The average tenures of coaches from each of the bigger leagues:

England: 39.9 months(SAF and Wengher brought the average up. Without them, the number is 22.7 months. Steve Bruce is the next longest serving coach.
Germany: 21.4
MLS: 19.7
France: 18.9
Holland: 17.5
Russia: 17.5
Italy: 16.3
Spain: 15.7
Brazil: 6.3.

The reason Italy is so low because at smaller clubs when things aren't going well the coaches are automatically blamed and they are sacked.

It happens everywhere. The Bundesliga has a longer tenure than Serie A, but the average is only less than 6 months so it makes not much difference. Even the number for EPL does not stand out if SAF and Wenger are out of the equation.
