The actions of the board this summer have been so stupid/bizarre that they've left me kinda bitter.

We apparently had a sole mission to get Gaucho..we failed.. and now we're looking lost and yet nothing's happening.

Time is running out and apparently Aimar is available for $25mil why don't we go in for him?

For maybe the first time in a long time I think we need to strengthen this summer if we want the biggest prize - the team and sqaud we have right now is way to reliant on a handful of the first teamers coming good time and time again. If they get injured or lose form the squaddies are not up to the job of raising their games enough for us to keep winning games - this worries me.

If ruud/scholes/giggs any one of them is injured or say one is injured and the others lose some form then what? Who comes in? What happens?

Alas my digression lol, we should go in for Aimar! he's real good cunning and would do well in the CL especially. Whaddya guys think?

Valencia have financial problems, I don't see why going in for Aimar would cost all that much as well.

Ronaldinho was using Man Utd to get a better deal for himself at barca..
His agent creates a bidding war and the prospective bidders go higher and higher with their contract offers.
The guy is trouble IMHO..
the barca coach will have his hands full with this guy.

If Aimar is available, United should go after him. Aimar would be a bargain at $25 mil. I watched Aimar play impressively in this summer's friendlies; he was masterful in JPN-ARG. He's of slight build, but possesses incredible vision. I think he's suited to the Prem's pace. Having taken Valencia to two CL finals, Aimar will be invaluable in United's run to another CL trophy.

Furthermore, I think a fellow Argie in Pablito might bring out the best in Veron. In essence, $25 mil might buy you two good Argies.
