Don't know if this belongs here or in the Business & Media thread, but there's a cool short Q&A with Tim Howard in the new issue of SLAM magazine, the basketball mag. He talks about playing basketball against Jay Williams and Dahntay Jones in high school but figuring he had more of a future in soccer. Also he says Ronaldinho's jheri curl has "got to go."

Ronaldo's-Gap- man you beat me to it, i just read the article in borders yesterday afternoon. the writer seemed pretty knowledgable about manu.
it was also pretty nice to hear that richard jefferson of the nets comes out to watch the metrostars matches, i doubt many other american athletes in the 4major american sports support their local mls clubs. tim sounds like a pretty interesting lad, i cant wait to see him between the sticks for united. he will do well i'm sure.

No way. Ronaldo's was just silly. It was blatantly wrong. I get the impression that good ol' Jar-jar Jr. fancy's himself as a bit of player and thinks the hair is killer.

If thats the truth, which it probably is, judging by the way he talks about himself... lol... He looks like an Afro-American Entertainer in the 80's hah...

From a story on Soccernet.com about Tim Howard:

"Eveybody's been great," Howard said. "A lot of smiles. A lot of laughs."

United captain Roy Keane, sitting next to Howard, knowingly tapped the goalkeeper on the right arm.

"That won't last," Keane said. "Don't worry."

LOL! :D

When did Roy Keane become Robert De Niro? Or even Sean Connery ?(From Finding Forrester, not James Bond)
