what do u think was/is the most heated rivalry in the history of MLS?

S.J. vs. L.A. because they hate each other and we quakes fans hate the Galaxy and their fans the most.

That will be the most short lived as well when the Quakes are sent to another city.

since there were only 6 spaces i decided just 2 put these. u can vote 4 'other' if u want. i know there r a lot of ohter rivalries like the ones u put above, united v. galaxy, fire, v. metros, burn v. sj, etc. i just couldn't put them all down.

I seem to see a pattern here, team gets some what of a rivarly with the Galaxy (See DC, Fire), then the rivalry dies because we win all the matches...
you need competitiveness to have a rivarly, and la dc and la fire have lost this.

Best rivalry was the LA v DC all games were hard played and we really still dont like them but we respect them. unlike SJ are a bunch of snooty nose kids who are having a good run but will fade soon. Fire is good becuase its always a battle. by the way SJ We dont like you and dont respect you. The fans are big talkers now but were a bunch of kiss asses until 01 So you might shine now but we shine long!!!!!!!!!! ( To Deep) for the josers You bad , me good

Now, a real rivalry would be "Kansas City v. lower division teams in the Open Cup." You never know when the gutty little Wizards will get a result against the big, bad Chicago Stingers.

Maybe you guys are missing out on someting called the Brimstone Cup, between the Shitcago Goons and the mighty Burn? Man oh man their pidily ass got whooped twice this year and they whooped ours last year, we had eachothers guts! You should read all the posts on our boards. I laugh at any other rivalry..hahahaha.

Some cheesey lame name for a cup doesn't make it a good rivalary, although it is despite people trying to brag about a name for their rivalry.
