We have the "most brutal 11" thread, now let's pick the world's "Gentlemen 11" team.
Players that are very mild-mannered on and off the pitch, show remarkable sportsmanship and respect for the rules of the game, will never tackle hard or attempt to start a fight.

Djibril Cisse - many liverpool players (eg SG, kewell) have said that he is there best bloke theyve ever met...he should certainly get a guensey in this team

Good choices, I was also considering Bergkamp, haven't watched that many of his games, but I would assume that he wasn't intentionally dirty, he may have been a bit careless with the elbows, though...
Other possible nominees:
Dirk Kuyt/Netherlands and Liverpool (he did make a reckless foul against Everton in a recent game, but I doubt it was a malicious play)
Peter Crouch/England and Liverpool
Shawn Wright-Phillips/England and Chelsea

Zahari Sirakov/Bulgaria and Amkar Perm - a very calm player, never been known to provoke or play dirty
Bobby Charlton/England

Yeah, I am surprised that the ref did not see that Brent Sancho was fouled, the Trinidadian defender did not complain, but Crouch could have admitted that it was not a perfectly legal play.
As for di Canio - indeed, he did win a fair play award, he was never a brutal player, but was involved in a number of fights. I think that the same applies to the Turkish defender Alpay.
