Ok I know that X2 isn't even out yet, but Brian Singer has completed his treatment for X3. While he's not officially signed on yet he did say that he wants to do another movie before he does X3. Here's what I've

Here's what I've got so far (http://www.zentertainment.com/article.php?sid=9136) The film will likely be centered more on Wolverine's (Hugh Jackman) story and Jean Grey's (Famke Janssen) transformation, while Storm (Halle Berry) may be completely absent or only appear in a cameo performance.

Actors already signed on for a sequel include: Jackman (Wolverine), Janssen (Jean Grey), Anna Paquin (Rogue), Aaron Stanford (Pyro), Shawn Ashmore (Iceman), James Marsden (Cyclops), Alan Cumming (Nightcrawler), Rebecca Romijn-Stamos (Mystique), Daniel Cudmore (Collossus) and Kelly Hu, whose character Lady Deathstrike appeared to have died in the last film.

Not signed on yet: Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart, who will both likely wait for a completed script before signing on.

New X-Men characters who might appear: rumors have circulated about Angel, Beast (who may be a CGI character) and Gambit (Rogue's boyfriend in the comic book series) being introduced into the film version. Bridgette Wilson is rumored to be up for Emma Frost, while Gwen Stefani of No Doubt has expressed interest in playing Dazzler and Kate Beckinsale may play Psylocke -- although since the treatment was just completed, it seems entirely too early for casting to be taking place.

Singer is not yet signed on to helm "X-Men 3," although the fact that he is writing a treatment makes it more than likely that he will be returning to the helm for the sequel. In the meantime, he and "X2" editor and composer John Ottman recently worked together on two Coke commercials, and the director says he is actively looking for a new project to helm before "X-Men 3" gets underway.

Personally I'd love to see more Nightcrawler and Colossus. I would also like to NOT see Gwen Stefani in it, I just think she'd ruin it. Kate Beckinsale would be perfect for Psylocke.

So... who would you like, or not like, to see?

Agreed but it was only a matter of time before shite like this starts to happen. Just look at every movie sequel ever made. It always starts off with the first one being cool and somewhat keeps it real. Then the 2nd isnt as good cause everyone is going by the 1st. And then the third movie they try to "make it better" by adding gimmick characters and inviting "popular" stars who have no business being there to join in.

Just look at Batman and Star Wars as an example.

Kate Beckinsale would soooooo make a great Psylocke! I really hope they do introduce her, she's one of my favorite characters.

And X2 was MUCH better than the first X-men movie, in my opinion.

I'd have to agree with you there, X2 was a lot better than the first one. I'm not saying the first one was bad, far from it, I just felt X2 was better.

also thought X2 was a better, funner film.

So there goes THAT theory, at least concerning this franchise so far! ;)

I will say that I have to agree that Gwen should step awaaaaay from the stage on this one though.

Can Paquin die a quick death within ten minutes of the opening credits?

She's creepy, has an annoying scream, has cinematically uninteresting powers and no sex appeal to warrant her presence.

Which means there is no reason the chick should be in the movie.

Completly wrong for the part.

Singer should not do X3. I can't even belive he did the first two.
