Well here it is, a day late. For the most part i think it's a good group of people. Mojica is there and i'm guessing he'll be starting against Argentina

Good to see Reyes out of the list. Am i mistaking in saying that this is the first time Sacha Lima is called? My memory is foggy but can someone tell me about Nicolas Suarez, Alejandro Gomez and Ronald Gutierrez?

called for qualifying or for the national team? He played a couple of min during the Copa America. I remember him being injured a bit and this might have been the reason he wasnt called for qualifying (if memory serves me right).

I dont know but last night my dad and I were watching Copa Sudamerican and out of no where he asks... "cuanto nos va a meter Argentina" I looked at him and didnt have the courage to answer. Is anyone else feeling this way?

Anyone remember when we tied them a couple years back i think before the WC 2002, where El Gato' had such a great game, and did a flowing cat jump which stopped a Batistuta shot that would have went to the top right or left corner? Forgot which side....


Hopefully we dont buckle and get goleado.

Cabrera has been playing well for Cucuta, hope he shows up against Argentina/Venezuela.

I feel the same way, I'm just praying that we don't get humiliated. But i can't stop thinking, in the world cup, and i stiil keep hope alive. I still believe we have a chance this time.

i still ask myself, why in the hell doesn't sanchez call ortiz, last i heard he was playing in eslovaquia. He has international experience, is still young, but is a midfielder that can greatly help our national team.

I agree, sanchez should leave vaca in the bench, but i don't know anymore. He always puts him in. I want to see limberg gutierrez, ronald garcia, jhasmany campos and mojica as the midfielders. I want to see what they generate together.

I also agree with Vaca goin to the bench. But i think think Mojica should NEVER start in a game again for the national team. Damn, he shouldn't even be on the roster because he doesn't deserve to be representing us wearing the national colors. They just call him cuz his dad is bestfriends with Erwin, he plays in Romania. And even the Romanians have some common sense because they know that they shouldn't start a professional bench warmer like Mojica. Second, why don't they call Jose-Luis Ortiz who plays in Eslovania intead of wack ass Mojica. Ortiz acually scores and plays 90 minute games in Eslovania.

Not only did he go to Bayren Munich at the age of 15 but he also made the first team for a little while. Now he is 21 and i think he should be given a chance to rep his country's colors.
I would even call Pindo from Xerex, Spain instead of Mojica becasue at least he fights and is faster then Mojica in many ways.

Well fo Argentina and Venezuela, I hope they play a formation like this.

Man i wish pinedo would have taken the chance he was given to play with River instead of Cadiz, which lead to Xerez, :(

Sounds like Ortiz wants a callup and chose lesser money for more playing time in his decision to move from Germany to Eslovenia, now he hopes Sanchez gives hiim a nod.

I think he should, as someone stated if a benchwarmer like Mojica is no tonly being called up but STARTING all the time this kid deserves a look, that being said when he did play in those U-? games for Bolivia, I remember reading how unimpressive he was.

Yep. Just read that too. Thats an interesting lineup up front. I like that hes trying out yet again another goalie. And platini is being balsy enough, to try out his two older forwards together. I see moreno getting pulled at half time for Martins or Arce. My moneys on arce though.

I see this as being our line up, with Limberg pulled up more, up front, sort of like a really withdrawn forward, nacho playing sorta more defense but playing on the wing, and Campos playing as a more offense left wing.

I read in Espn Deportes that the line up would be this.

The question is middle, although we can guess it will be Mojica, Garcia, Linberg Gutierrez and Campos. All the newspapers are set with the following forwards

I dont think this is that bad, obviously mojica is a problem but nothing we can do. My guess is that for teh game against venezuela he will use Arce and Martins. To try to get the win with those forwards. I dont have a problem with that and i wouldnt care if he played with a 4-5-1 to try to get the point. For venezuela (not to say they are an easy team) i would be disappointed if i didnt see Arce and Martins. We have to be more aggresive against venezuela for sure. That's a team I KNOW we can beat, home or away.
