Anyone here also a big fan of Lucio?

I still remembered that when he just joined Bayern he made some mistakes that make me disliked him for awhile. But then as I see him played more and more, I love his attitude as much as other players like Sagnol and Kahn.

I checked out that his contract will expire 2010. He is going to be 30something around that time. Is he planning to give all his career to Bayern? :)

PS. I still cannot forget the header he scored against Real Madrid...that was awsome~!:D

Why would anyone here be a big fan of Lucio? It just doesn't make sense.

Despite his defensive blunders and his tendency to run forward, one can't help but admire his will and determination. He plays with his heart on his sleeve and makes his presence felt on the pitch, he is a real leader.

Lucio is the focking man!!! it takes a while for him to grow on you, but once he does you can truly recognize the true class he brings to the pitch. he takes the gambles that many players won't make. most times they pay off, some times they don't.

he plans on seeing out the rest of his contract, as he recently gave an interview on the bayern website to that effect. It sound like it will be awfully hard for someone to pry him from our hands.

players like him are what we need for Bayern... leaders that are content with seeing out their careers here, because the success of the club to them means more than the amount they receive in their paychecks

This man isn't going anywhere. He and his family seem to be settled and in love with Munich. Plus, the club will want Lucio around to mentor the new Brazilian kid.

He's totally "Bayernized" just as Elber was.

I wish Lahm was Bayernized..

Lucio got an auto-goal which resulted in 1-1 tie for Brazil for WC 2010. He also got another yellow in the game which suspends him for the next game.

It doesn't matter, Lucio has become arguably one of Brazil's most influential players and has actually kinda solidified Brazil's defense. Remember what a joke it was not too long ago when they were starting a player like Roque Junior?

When all is said and done, Brazil will qualify like they always do.

Speaking of qualifying, Demichelis has been doing really really well for Argentina since he got his chance to start. He might just become their starting CB.

I thought Demi is their starter now? Yes, he has excelled with them so far. I'm not saying Lucio isn't influential in Brazil, I just reported news about him. Didn't know it was bad to report bad news about him. Sorry about the auto-goal, Canada has changed me for the worst!
