Ghaly: I Will Not Play For Tottenham Again
Hossam Ghaly has stated that he does not want to return to play for Tottenham Hotspur despite the exit of manager Martin Jol last month.
The Egyptian midfielder has not played for the north London club since May and admits that his troubles extend to differences with the directors and the supporters.
After coming on as a substitute against Blackburn at White Hart Lane at the end of last season, he was taken back off after a poor performance and reacted angrily.
As Ghaly walked off the pitch he chucked his jersey down in a fit of rage and was jeered by the fans, who chanted 'you're not fit to wear the shirt'.
In the summer Tottenham allowed Ghaly to join Birmingham City, but he was sent back before signing a contract after a fracas in his first training session with the Blues.
Now he is prepared to wait until the winter transfer window before looking for a way out of the Premiership club and does not want to be considered by new boss Juande Ramos.
"The arrival of Ramos won't change the situation. It wasn't only Jol, I also had a lot of troubles with the board and the fans," he said.
"All I am focused on is getting prepared to play with Egypt in the Arab Games."
After spending three years at Feyenoord, the 25-year-old moved to Tottenham in 2006 and made 21 appearances for the team scoring two goals.
