HELP - Football Presidents

i am currently trying to carry out research on a number of enigmatic and notorious football presidents. This has been partly inspired by Purgia's boss, who has signed Col Gaddaffi's son as a player and Ben Johnson as a trainer! There are also the likes of Piterman and Gil in the Spanish game.

So anyone have any intersting stories about football presidents?

In Britain the President is an honory positions, but there are a fair few dodgy chairmen. Of the current chairmen Mohammed al Fayed is the most notorious, although Sam Hamman, Ken Bates and Doug Ellis. A few to look into from the past are Robert Maxwell, Elton John, Terry Venables, Owen Oyston amongst others.
