you see this???
i've been waiting countles years for such a program!
today was the launch!!! i just couldn't ********ing wait.
But as always, there are always problems when you're excited for something.
I checked it out on a school computer (these are terrible, but some seem to have a great internet connection)
it worked perfectly for about 2-3 minutes...then the buffering started, i didn't care too much...Assuming it would work A LOT better on my home computer.
I get home...drooling in excitement...I don't even get ********ing picture!!! is it possible the school computers are better with a more advanced internet connection?!
so i checked my brothers...this computer is custom made, top of the line...wroth over 2000 i think.
While watching...at least i got picture, but seeing actual moving footage is rare...it's like watching a picture slideshow with commentary and stadium sounds :(
can you guys please run the free test, tell me how it works with you and what i could possibly do to correct this.
i'm absolutely heart broken at the moment
thanks :(

i sent an email to the website...Maybe they have an idea
3 of my friends also played it...and everyone experienced the same problem.
the best someone has done is maybe 1.5 minutes without buffering for a while.
my cousin beat my brothers computer and my bro's comp is much better...
someone in the SCF forum said it could be a problem with security settings, but i highly doubt it...

Before jumping to bed, I just tried it. It works perfect, no buffering and the quality is good. I have no idea why yours isn't working though.

where you living now mate?
and what is your internet connection?
how good is your computer?
I have a great computer, but it's a little bit over-due for an upgrade...My video card sucks, probably should get some more RAM...Maybe that could be a big problem?
I have Rogers cable internet also...no reason why it shouldn't work on my brothers computer.

I live about 300-400 km from Hamburg(Germany) and I have cable internet. I seriously doubt anything is wrong with your computer, cause my laptop is about 1.5-2 years old so not exactly the newest machine on the market. It's a standard laptop, nothing special. Since all your friends have the same problem and Eric too, it could be distance problems. I assume all of you live across the Atlantic.

Isn't working for me neither (4 year old Laptop with top-speed cable though, but in general I don't have problems with screaming)

There goes the distance theory.. Squig, do you use your laptop a lot? 4 years is a lot for a laptop.. I'm happy if my laptop can function until summer where I probably have to buy a new.

it's OT, but whatever: Yes, I use it a lot, but more as a stationary PC. Had to replace the keyboard and the DVD drive does not work anymore (have an external one) because I spilled fanta over it, otherwise the laptop is fine apart from being ridicolous loud and the battery being dead, of course (not taking it out when having it on a table does not help, though, but it's way above it's age).
It's a Highscreen Laptop, so the same as gericom, quite cheap actually. back then specially made for gaming with a normal Pentium 4 (no electricty saving mobile procesor), had 256 Ram (upgraded to 750), 20 GB hard drive (have an old PC as server as well for my mp3s and stuff), an Ati grafics card and 15" screen.
I guess it still lives because I don't carry it aroudn so much, only when I move (back then when I was in the states, then to Amsterdam), used to bring ti to Lan parties the first year or so, now I only take it when I go to Germany to have Internet there and something to do in the train, so I don't bring it to University, work etc.
I hope I get an Ibook for christmas/birthday.

I can definitely relate to the loud part and I spilled cola over mine, but somehow nothing happened to it, lucky me. I use mine for studies and carry it around a lot, the screen is not exactly the best anymore but I manage. I might consider the Ibook when it's time to get a new, it looks like an awesome laptop.

there must be something going on with the distance though.
My computer is about 4 years old also...But i've never really had problems with streaming before.

alright from the forum, i learned from a fan living in Israel that...If you purchase the product, you can switch between DSL 1 or DSL 2...the test is with the best possible stuff, so wish me luck here...i'll just try it for 3 months, it's like 11 euro.

Poor Kyle. ;) Can't you watch the SC games on the "bet & win" stream any longer?

even if i can...i'll still be so bitter having access to this incredible program (but it doesn't work)
bwin.com streams the games still...but they need me to put 10 dollars on my account, they won't take my credit card because i'm only 18 i think.
apparently bwin.ch doesn't ask for this...me and eric tried it last match, but they only played Augsburg - FCK and Wehen - 1860
i gotta tell ya though...getting really sick of that small screen :(
with the scf.tv i'd be able to watch the games late at night with my mates and drink...

Really feel for you mate :(
Have you tried emailing the SC freiburg people.
I'm truly lucky to have HerthaTV. It works wonderfully.
