I'd like to think that if we could get 10,000 for a cold, wet, windy game we could get at least 10,000 for a nice, although slightly chilly night.

The Fidelity Club people showed up for the Chicago game last year, they'll be there on Thursday night.

According to a thread in the main Major League Soccer forum, Houston has already sold 10,000 tickets for the Western Conference Final.
I'd love to see a big crowd, but I think we'll be lucky to get 15,000, and will probably get something around 13,000.

Just to short notice for a lot of people. So no super big crowd, about average I think.

It depends on the starting time.
MLSNET.com shows a 7:30 pm start, but ESPN lists it at 8:00 pm(8:30 start if a pre-game is scheduled ?).
So,
17,163 = if it starts at 7:30
21, 458 = if it starts after 8:00.

well houston has a lot of fans. ya know, the ones the team paid for to fill pizza hut park for the final last year...
i bet we will get more than them.

Hoping for 13000. Thursday night will probably surprise some who will be expecting the match to be Saturday. Doesn't matter, it's gonna be great regardless.

Well, a good indicator would be how much buzz there is on spanish language media in Boston. I'm not in town this week, but have any of you seen or heard anything on radio or TV?

I doubt but good luck. The Western Conference Final will be sold out. To top that all you need is 33K. No problem for a 67K stadium. ;)

Yeah, all we'd need is a weekend game day and an August start time.
