Your right W_H, the silly season has come early this year, £15mil for a player who can't even make it in a 21 man squad? their 'aving a larf!

Isn't he an overweight drunken bum at the moment? Should fit into the squad OK.

He is fat, a drunk, not fit and likes a white powdery substance. No thanks.
He is a brazilian Gazza, but without the self control

We are still assessing the extent of his gambling addiction though H1. If this isn't at the 'about to fall into deep depression' stage then he may not make the grade at West Ham.

Well we all like a bit of icing sugar on our cake now and then. Sounds to me like he belongs on our terraces!! :)

I am glad that Johnson has signed a new deal at the Toffees as I do not want him at W.H. although he would fit right in as he is always injured.
I am running out of patience with Parker as well. Just get your arse off the couch and play through some pain.

I have been thinking for a while that Berbatov may be a good move for us and now there is paper speculation that he wants away.
Obviously it would be a bit of a coup due to the impact he has made in the EPL and the interest he has attracted from Chelsea and the like.
But he would be a great signing if we could lure him.

I think Berbatov will go to Man Utd or Chelsea if he moves to another English club. He'd be too much of a coup for us.
We'd be more likely to get Saha - he'd fit right in hobbling around that treatment room:(

There is still some hope in my heart that Gudjohnsen might choose us.
I would even be happy to see the arrival of Defoe. Adriano? Maybe on a free!!

The latest players we have been linked with are Djibril Cisse and Giles Barnes again:

Barnes will be a good signing and one for the future but why are we going for another left winger? He played a central role against us on Sunday but looked a little out of place.
If this deal goes through we will have four right wingers and three left wingers, all of who are good enough to start in the first 11...but four strikers and one of those on loan.
We really need at least one quality striker and one commanding midfielder. A Partick Viera or Roy Keane type. If we get these two I will be happy.

I wouldnt mind another left winger. The dead snake is moribund and ethers is great but moody with a tendency to disappear for games at a time. A shame really coz otherwise I truly believe he could have made the England squad. I think Mullins is great as a midfield stopper but we really need someone creative alongside him. I'd take Beckham if he wasnt training with the arse.
We also need someone at the back. Anton Ferdinand would be nice if he could remember he's a footballer.

I don't think our defence is at all bad. We have the, what? fourth best defensive record in the PL? About there, anyway.
Get our injured players back and it will be even better.

We rely too much on Green, he must be worth at least two goals a game

From the games I have watched the defense have been generally quite solid and even the odd commentator has remarked on this.
All players have off days and our defenders are no exception, but on the whole they hold up quite well and make it difficult for teams to get in behind them.
We cannot credit all of our defensive achievements on one man's shoulders, even if Green is in the form of his life.

We are OK at the back, Barnes would be a good signing.
