What is Micah Richards's best position? Right Back or Central defence? I personally prefer to see him at right back because I think that he has alot of attacking skills in him! What do you guys think?

I think atm he is a better right back as he is making a few mistakes at CB, but i think we have to cop that, for we will be better when he is 25+ and he is a consistent star.

I think he is a very flexible player and he plays good in both positions but he really impressed me at the ManU game as CB so I am a big supporter of him playing center. Although, he is just as good a RB.

Each year that passes, he is getting better and I can't wait until hes in his mid 20s. Can you say clean sheets galore?

He's better than Corluka at RB. But moving Micah to RB will sacrifice some speed in the CB. We all know Dunne isn't the paciest CB...

He has never totally impressed at right-back for either club or country. He also does not have the required skill set to be an effective right-back. The centre is where his future lies and therefore he needs experience playing there.

I think he has to skill set to become an absolute gem at center back. That said, I think I would rather have his speed in central defence than to have him participating in the offense etc... If he can get some more experience at the back he could develop into one of the greatest of all time. He is so young and as long as he is continually being developed he is going to be in his prime 3 or 4 years from now. He definitely has a bright future ahead.

corluka is better then micah at center back..speed is overated as far as centerback..if you are smart strong and good in the air you dont really need great speed..perfect example stam for holland..

.. or Richard Dunne for Manchester City;)
But it does not hurt to have a pacey player alongside that kind of centre back.
Corluka might be a more natural central defender then Richards but for the balance of the City defence the current line up is the best IMO.
