I'll have to say that school is the place where you catch most things. I graduated last summer, and I haven't been sick even once! Its crazy, I used to get a cold at least 3 times a year. Its been over 9 months since my last cold! :)

I'm in school, around kids, around friends that are always sick, and usually walk around with my jacket open in the tri state winter and I havent been sick in 2 years.

^That's where grandparents, family comes in place. My niece was sick 2 weeks ago....now my sister is sick...so my niece was over my house yesterday. You have got to be kidding. Both my parents and my in-laws stay far away when my kids are sick. And if any of them gets sick within a few days of a visit under normal conditions, they blame it on my kids.

No...but I guess its not a bad idea!

I inherited the listerine thing from a swim coach. When you swim, you are constantly exposed to sicknesses that other swimmers leave in the pool...and often times, the pool water gets in your mouth more than you like.

It kinda made sense after that...it is good to wash hands because your hands are the part of your body that makes the most common contact with your mouth. But why not have Listerine as a second line of defense, working inside your mouth.

Or, maybe it is all just placebo.

I would also advise people not to touch their ears, nose or eyes when people are sick around you. I think those are a few things that people forget about.

Just remember: if it hadn't been to the filthy, disease-ridden conditions the Europeans lived in, they wouldn't have conquered the Western Hemisphere so easily.

Actually, that might have to do more with the intentional practice of spreading virus and disease to unaware native peoples.

But, yea, nothing like glorifying that wonderful chapter of history.

My oldest is 4 and a half and in her second year of school. My little one is 9 months old.

Will I ever develop immunity to all the garbage they catch? I mean, what the ********!?!?!?!
