Since TD is off on daddy duties, I'll help him out today.
Starting Lineup for both teams:
NUFC: Steve Harper, Steven Taylor, Jose Enrique, Claudio Cacapa, Abdoulaye Faye, James Milner, Charles N'Zogbia, Nicky Butt, Joey Barton, Michael Owen, Alan Smith
Subs: Fraser Forster, David Rozehnal, Emre, Geremi, Oba Martins
PFC: David James, Sol Campbell, Sylvain Distin, John Utaka, Niko Kranjcar, Papa Bouba Diop, Glen Johnson, Sulley Muntari, Noe Pamarot, Sean Davis, Benjani
Subs: Jamie Ashdown, Matt Taylor, Lauren, Nwanko Kanu, Pedro Mendes
Looks like Taylor is in at RB for Beye, Harper is in for Given who is out with a groin injury, Milner and N'Zog push Emre and Geremi to the bench, and Smith will partner up front with Owen with Oba coming off of the bench. Butt will start out with the arm band with Geremi on the bench.
Not sure if Big Sam is playing a 4-4-2 or a 4-5-1, but a 4-4-2 would make to much sense with the players on the field....so I'll say Sam is still in Sam's world and will be coming out with a 4-5-1 or a 4-3-3 come to think of it.
Portsmouth have lost their last 4 straight away from Fratten Park. Butttt Newcastle have their own 4 game win streak at SJP and are unbeaten at home this season.
Let's go boys. I see a 3-1 win with Milner, N'Zog, and Oba bagging goals.

If anyone else can comment on the defenses play in the past I would appreciate it. This is the first game I have gotten to watch in a month, and Cacapa looks like crap, Faye does as well. Has Given just been saving them? How do we give up 3 in the first 10 minutes to freak'n Portsmouth?
Oh, and Milner is playing LW with N'Zog playing RW????????

Cacapa has gotten muscled off of 2 straight balls that have led to goals, or maybe it was Cacapa for the 2nd and Faye for the 3rd, I don't know.
At least Portsmouth's defense gifts us one back.

I had to put the baby back in the crib. That first 11 minutes was anything but G-rated. At least we look like we're starting to play now.
