Looking towards a rather interesting weekend ahead, Colts and Pats be damned...
Like the aforementioned game, United and Arsenal (http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/606/A28668504) will be tough to live up to all the pregame hype. The teams are miles away from (http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_prem/7071519.stm) the blood feuds earlier in the decade; Cesc Fabregas may be the key to this one, but it'll be interesting to see whether Arsenal's speed can kill the United backline. Or will it be the skills of Ronaldo, Rooney, and Tevez to take the day?
A year suspension? (http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/7070927.stm) Damn, Dong-Gook plays for the wrong country. If he was Brazilian (and Ronaldinho or Robinho, which obiviously he isn't), he'd get a pass, not a year off.
Ronaldo back? I'll believe it when I see it, but it's about time. (http://www.channel4.com/sport/football_italia/nov1n.html) But by far, this weekend's tastiest treat in Serie A is the Italian derby between Inter and Juventus at the Stadio Olimpico. Huge win for the Fire last night. (http://chicagosports.chicagotribune.com/sports/soccer/fire/cs-071101fire,1,2948073.story?coll=cs-fire-headlines) And while DC thinks over things like whether the Supporter Shield means anything and what's to come personnel wise, the draw puts United out with a relatively uncertain future ahead of them.
